Low heskiva supply on hell

audiovisual live performance - 2023

Low Heskiva Supply on Hell (LHSH) is a live audiovisual performance that combines Véro Marengère's generative and hyper-colored 3D visuals with the electronic, shifting and noisy soundscape of composers Yannick Chayer and Alain Lefebvre. The performance explores the limits of abstraction, where the dissolution of sound and visual form gives way to a new form, which is so fragmented that it is akin to hallucinations. From icy flowers to giant caterpillars to the sounds of children's toys, LHSH is a performance that suggests a resolutely psychedelic fiction.

Véro Marengère's visual aesthetic consists of generative 3D animations directly sourced from Yannick Chayer’s abstract, esoteric and subversive paintings and inspired by the blurred line between the physical and virtual aspects of life. Chayer and Lefebvre's instrumentations are primarily analog and combine small synthesizers, toys and an assortment of small objects, usually equipped with microphones and circuits or heavily modified. The 3 artists combine their visions to create an exalted dreamlike state at the border of digital and analog technologies.
