The Journey of objects into Selfhood

The Journey of Objects into Selfhood evokes an intimate and communicative space in which sound forms emerge spontaneously like characters in an improvised play. Through the manipulation of amplified objects, light effects and electromagnetism, the work explores the possibility of rethinking our relationships with everyday objects from a Fluxus and neo-animist perspective. By adopting a posture that favors matter over thought, The Journey of Objects into Selfhood does not impose ideas but rather imposes the practice of compassion. It is a project comprised of Véro Marengère and Alain Lefebvre. It has been presented at ASKOUMA 2021.
